Summary
Opus 2 can install equipment in the hearing room when attending in person. The below provides a breakdown of the equipment that can be provided and their use in relation to our services.
Standard Equipment
Electronic Presentation of Evidence (EPE)
The EPE screen (screen on the right in the picture) is controlled by our EPE Operator and will simultaneously display documents as and when they are referred to during proceedings.
10 EPE screens are provided on a complimentary basis. Additional screens are charged at £15 per screen per sitting day.
Opus 2 Laptop
We advise Parties to use your own personal laptops for proceedings, however, if required we are also able to supply a laptop for Realtime users. The Opus 2 laptop is provided so the individual can login and access the electronic hearing bundle and live transcript via the Opus 2 platform. They will need their existing login details to hand in order to login to the Opus 2 laptop each morning.
Laptops for non-Realtime users are charged at £25 per laptop per sitting day.
Extended Monitor
The extended monitor (screen on the left in the picture) is an extension of the Opus 2 laptop which will provide the individual with dual screen capabilities. For example, this will allow the individual to have the live transcript on one screen and the electronic hearing bundle on the second screen.
Extended monitors are charged at £15 per screen per sitting day.
